Refund policy
**Claims**
All Esmé products undergo thorough quality control before delivery. If your product is damaged or has a manufacturing defect upon receipt, please contact us at [kontakt@esme.no](mailto:kontakt@esme.no) as soon as possible, and no later than 48 hours after delivery. Please describe the defect or damage in detail and attach photographs so that we can process the matter thoroughly and efficiently. The warranty covers material and manufacturing defects in accordance with applicable legislation.
Our products are handmade, which may result in small variations in appearance and dimensions. We strive to display the products as accurately as possible, but artisanal variations are a natural part of the production process. We cannot guarantee that the colour shown on your screen or on a physical textile sample will be completely identical to the finished product. Furthermore, we cannot guarantee that products, services, or information will meet all expectations, or that any errors in our services will be corrected. Please note that headboards wider than 120 cm require textile joining. This is done on both sides so that the seam does not run down the centre. How visible the seam will be depends on the textile and pattern, and customers should expect the seam to be visible. Prints on textiles may be slightly offset, which may affect the result of the joining, as a 100% match will not be possible.
**Right of Withdrawal**
The agreement is exempt from the right of withdrawal. The right of withdrawal does not apply to customised products. This includes Esmé’s headboards and products made specifically for you. Services where you have explicitly consented to the service beginning without a right of withdrawal are also exempt, including orders placed through a Bespoke request.
**Delivery Time**
We strive to deliver your customised furniture within the agreed timeframe. However, we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by customs, postal services, or our suppliers, such as textile manufacturers. If the selected textile is out of stock with the supplier, this may result in an extended delivery time.
